The Formulawas established in 1996.

How the FORMULA works:

We rate a business in the 4 market disciplines on a scale of 1-25. These disciplines are Branding, Design, Communication, and Advertising in that order.

First, we conduct an ‘observation lab’ at the establishment. This lab is an extended look at the business from the inside; its operations, flow, customer experience, etc. and externally as well.

We then critically calculate benchmarks (some fall under Branding and other fall under Design, Communications etc…) and watch how the business interacts both (internally) with its in-house staff and (externally) with its customer(s).

This way we can experience the business as a customer does but equipped with observation skills used in observing customers eye tracking, psychology, neuroscience, and phenomenology.

Then we compile a brief report.

Using the Formula we arrive with some insight and perspectives using a combination of the in-person Observation Lab and the Formula.

This tells us:

1. How poorly or well a business is doing.
2. Where their marketing costs could be directed to optimally increasing new and additional revenue.


The Formula™ was established in 1996. It works like math and science in recognizing immediate problems and providing logical solutions using both rational and irrational emotional triggers to drive new, optimal, and/or psychological solutions.
